Katrina, Mississippi – Voices from Ground Zero tells true stories from emergency responders before, during, and after Hurricane Katrina slammed into Mississippi in August 2005.

Their never-before-told stories reveal how first responders handled preparations and aftermath. With emphasis on public health, the book documents the players’ personal and professional views, their alliances and actions, their concerns and issues, their truths and consequences.
